Description
Non-wetting refractory castable is specially designed for aluminum processing applications. It is primarily used in aluminum melting furnace walls, furnace bottoms, degassing chambers, flow channels, nozzles, and forehearths. The material combines the advantages of both organic and inorganic binders, incorporating a novel composite additive that is insoluble in aluminum to effectively separate the refractory from molten aluminum. During aluminum grain refinement, harmful gases are generated that can damage the castable’s structure. To counteract this, we have incorporated radiation-resistant materials and neutralizing agents to enhance low-temperature sintering strength, providing excellent inhibition effects and significantly extending the service life of refractory materials in aluminum melting furnaces.
