Refractory mortar for blast furnace

Description

Refractory mortar is made from high-quality grog, flint clay, high-purity silicon carbide and electrically calcined anthracite as main raw materials, with the addition of various special micro-powders and composite binder.

Features

  • Excellent fluidity, enabling it to flow into narrow gaps.
  • Initial setting time exceeds 20 hours to ensure complete penetration.
  • Short hardening time with high strength; hardened product remains elastic without becoming brittle or cracking, and no voids are formed.
  • Superior bonding affinity, firmly adhering to the iron shell and furnace lining to form an integrated structure.
  • Slight thermal expansion when heated, filling the gap between the blast furnace shell and cooling stave, effectively preventing gas leakage through cracks.
